At Sparrow Pond Family Campground, we know that camping isn’t just about the great outdoors; it’s also about coming together with family and friends to make lasting memories. That’s why we offer a variety of themed weekend events throughout the camping season that are sure to delight everyone.  Activities & Times may change. April 5th – April 9th: Solar Eclipse

Join us for Solar Eclipse Weekend! (April 5 to April 9) Activities, shopping, food, entertainment & more!

April 19th: Opening Weekend
Kick off the camping season with us!

May 10th – May 11th: Mother’s Day Weekend
Mother’s Day Crafts & Wine Bingo

May 24th – May 26th: Memorial Day Weekend
Weekend Full of activities, including the SPC Kentucky Derby! Bingo, Crafts, Games, Entertainment and More!

June

June 1st: Nerf Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Nerf Games, crafts and Tye Dye!

June 7th – June 9th: Happy Campers Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Craft Classes for Kids and Adults, Candy Bar Bingo and Stuffed Animal Workshop.

June 14th – June 16th: Father’s Day Weekend
Celebrate Father’s Day with us!  Annual Fishing Contest, crafts & Spaghetti Dinner.

June 21st – June 23rd: Hawaiian Luau Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Join us Saturday for our Hawaiian Luau.

June 28th – June 30th: Reptile Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Jungle Terry will be here on Saturday!

July

July 4th – July 7th: Fourth of July Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday followed by a Pot Luck Dinner.  Mario Cart Races, crafts and more!

July 12th – July 14th: Wacky Holiday Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Join us as we put a “twist” on the Holidays!  We will celebrate Christmas AND Halloween!

July 19th – July 21st: Pirates Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Weekend filled with Pirate activities and games.

July 19th – July 21st: Waterford Days Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Be a part of the festivities in the historic town of Waterford, PA, just 3 miles from the campground. Take advantage of free admission and parking, peruse the crafters and food vendors, and enjoy the activities, parade, reenactments, and more! A schedule of events will be included in your check-in packet or available at the front desk.

July 26th – July 28th: Wet n’ Wild Weekend
Start saving your cardboard and get your duct tape and water guns ready for our Wet n’ Wild Weekend. Be a part of the fun, including the Cardboard Boat Regatta, Get Wet Hayride and Water Battle, and pool games. And for the adults, don’t miss out on our 6th Annual Adult-Only Battleship on the pond.

August 2nd – August 4th: Wine & Cheese Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Saturday – Wine (& Juice for kiddos) Tasting Party.

August 9th – August 11th: Golf Cart Poker Run Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Saturday: Crafts, Poker Run and Hayrides!

August 16th – August 18th: Western Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Saturday: Crafts, Candy Bar Bingo and Line Dancing!

August 24th – August 26th: Red Neck Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Red Neck games and Pot Luck on Saturday!

August  30th – September 2nd: Labor Day Weekend
Join us for a fun-filled weekend with crafts, games, hayrides, and more.
